Born, bred, and educated in Houston, TX, Hunter has a deep understanding for all things Texas weddings. Owner and creator of Opal & Slate, Hunter has worked for years perfecting her design look and defining her own personal style and approach to planning. Hunter approaches the event process by meshing each bride’s unique personal vision with a master level of detail and organization.

Have an unhealthy obsession with all horror movies and tend to watch movies that most likely have a 1 star rating on IMDB.

If I am not working a wedding or events, I am most likely spending my weekend hiking or camping throughout Texas. Goal is to make it through ALL Texas State Parks!
